Backyard Bounty / BPG celebration.

Featuring special guest - Costa Georgiadis (Costa's Garden Odyssey)

Celebrate the end of the Backyard Bounty project and all the achievements of the Ballarat Permaculture Guild by joining us for a fun family event including:

2 - 4.30 pm scarecrow making
5 pm "Costa look-alike" scarecrow competition with actual prizes
kids games
5.30 - 7.30 pm BYO shared meal (BBQ available)
7.30 pm live music
all day - lots of celebratory chinwagging

This is a FREE event, open to all, but especially those who have participated in workshops, permablitzes, BPG meetings, Permies at the Pub or any other BPG events (even Committee meetings!). It's a great chance to catch up with old friends or make new ones - we'd love to see you there.

For the scarecrow making, we'll provide a bunch of free hay/straw, but please BYO old clothes, outrageous fake Greek hair, button eyes and so on. We'll set up tables for you to work on, or you can bring your folding chairs and sit in the sun. Costa is looking forward to judging the competition - he might even have a go at making a scarecrow himself, but then he'll probably be too busy talking to people about how great permaculture is, so that may not happen!

Royal Park is a great place but has limited reheating facilities for food, so try to be as self-reliant as you can when thinking about catering for your evening meal. We'll have a BBQ set up or you are welcome to bring your own.
