Non-BPG event  Practical workshop on how to grow vegetables in your backyard.


The areas to be covered include :-

• wicking bed design and use
• vegetable garden design
• making raised vegetable beds
• watering options
• planting seeds and seedlings
• protecting your vegetables from pests
• managing your vegetable garden
• using pots to grow vegetables
• soil fertility
• making and using liquid fertilisers
• growing vegetables in a greenhouse
• mulches and fertilisers
• how to grow some keyvegetables
• wicking bed design

When : Saturday 4th February SOLD OUT
Times : 10 am (will run for approximately 2 hours)
Where : 104 Crompton street Ballarat
Cost : $10. (All proceeds donated to the Ballarat Community Garden)
